The 13th North German Geothermal Conference will be taking place on 12 May 2022 on a purely online platform. Registration is free and currently still open.

At the 13th North German Geothermal Energy Conference on May 12, 2022, deep geothermal energy will once again be the focus. Under the motto “Deep geothermal energy in Northern Germany on the threshold of potential to realisation”, selected speakers will present pioneering projects, the latest potential studies and innovative developments.

This year’s online event is hosted by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). Unfortunately, the course of the pandemic does not allow any face-to-face events this year either, so this year’s conference will only take place via Webex. Participation is free of charge.

Registration is ongoing and will be accepted until 4 May 2022. Interested participants may send an email to Ms. Antje Kemmer (antje.kemmer@bgr.de). The participation link will be sent out a week before the conference. The detailed programme can be viewed via this link.
