The National Geothermal Meeting of Colombia will be taking place in Manizales, Colombia, December 5ö7, 2017.
The 2017 National Geothermal Meeting – RENAG will be taking place in Manizales, Colombia, from December 5-7, 2017
The event will highlight issues and concerns, programs, policies and projects related to the sustainable geothermal development in Colombia. It will provide a platform for dynamic dialogue and constructive cooperation. It is an initiative by ACEG, a geoscientist association from graduate students from diverse universities in Colombia. Parallel to the conference, academic institutions will be hosting breakout sessions in partnership with RENAG and ACEG.

The event has six main topics: Direct Uses, Communities, Exploration, Financing, High Enthalpy and Legal Framework. It will conclude with a discussion panel for each topic.
The event sees a strong international interest and already has confirmation of participants from countries such as Iceland, Mexico, El Salvador, and Chile.
