The 7th African Rift Geothermal Conference will be held 31 October to 2 November 2018 - with pre-conference short courses and post-conference field trips offered.

The bi-annual African Rift Geothermal Conference will take place this year, hosted by the Government of the Republic of Rwanda.

The 7th African Rift Geothermal Conference (ARGeo-C7) will be held in partnership with UN Environment, Ministry for Foreign Affairs Iceland, Directorate for International Development Cooperation (MFA-ICEIDA), The United Nations University – Geothermal Training Programme (UNU-GTP), African Union Commission (AUC) and the International Geothermal Association – African Regional Branch (IGA-ARB).

With four parallel pre-conference geothermal short courses to be held 29-30 October 2018, the main conference will be held on 31st October – 2nd November 2018. The event further features post conference field trips to Rubavu 3-4 November 2018.
