The Arverne Group has announced a 50-year warranty for the shallow geothermal installations by DrillHeat, a testament to the system's reliability and longevity.

The Arverne Group has announced a 50-year warranty on geothermal probes installed by DrillHeat, a member company of the group. A guarantee unmatched in the French market, the warranty scheme highlights the durability, reliability, and longevity of the company’s shallow geothermal installations.

In the event of a failure, the warranty will cover either repair, replacement, or refunding of the affected probe. In the event of a leak in the probe, the DrillHeat teams will intervene to repair and recommission the system, and will conduct the necessary testing. If repair is not possible, a new borehole will be drilled to replace the defective probe. As a last resort, and if no other technical solutions are feasible, the defective probe will be refunded.

A well-designed, properly installed, and well-maintained heat exchanger should last. By offering this 50-year warranty, Arverne provides DrillHeat’s partners with visibility and security that did not previously exist in this market,” said Patrice Landholt, CEO of DrillHeat.

Founded in 2022, DrillHeat is the subsidiary of Arverne that specializes in shallow geothermal drilling. It recently celebrated a milestone with the installation of its 100th shallow geothermal system, corresponding to 130,000 meters of boreholes drilled. With six drilling rigs, DrillHeat operates the largest fleet of rigs dedicated to surface geothermal energy in France.
