Registration is currently open for the BLM Utah online geothermal lease sale to be held on 12 April 2022, 9 AM MDT / 10 AM CDT.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah will be holding an online geothermal lease sale on 12 April 2022 starting at 9 AM MDT / 10 AM CDT. A total of 11 parcels covering a total of 31,467 acres will be available for bidding. Each parcel will have its own unique 30-minute bidding period with 3-minute intervals between each parcel. Bids will only be accepted during the particular parcel’s bid period.
For details about the parcels and their specific bidding schedules, interested participants may visit the EnergyNet website. The details for some of the parcels have been updated since we last posted about the federal lease sale. Interested bidders will need to register ahead of the sale schedule to submit bids for the parcel. Registration is currently open.
