The EAGE is soliciting for abstracts for the Second Workshop on Geothermal Energy in Latin America to be held on 11-16 November 2023 in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Abstracts are now being accepted for the Second Workshop on Geothermal Energy in Latin America organized by the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE). The event will take place on 11-16 November 2023 in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
The call for abstracts will remain open until 1 August, 2023. Additional guidelines on abstract submission can be found on this link. Abstracts on the following topics will be accepted:
- Exploration of geothermal fields: geology, geochemistry and geophysics.
- Geothermal drilling
- Low temperature geothermal systems.
- High temperature geothermal systems

The Second EAGE Workshop on Geothermal Energy in Latin America will be a platform for the dissemination of experiences and lessons learned during the exploration, development and exploitation stages of geothermal resources. The objective is to establish suitable practices for commercial use in the region. This event is a unique opportunity for experts in the field to share their knowledge and discuss the advances and challenges facing the geothermal energy industry in Latin America.
