Call for EOI: Surface exploration and training in geothermal areas in Tanzania

A Call for Expressions of Interest for surface exploration and training in geothermal areas in Tanzania has been published by the Nordic Development Fund and Iceland's ICEIDA.

The Nordic Development Fund and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs have released a call for Expressions of Interest for “Surface exploration and training in Luhoi in Rufiji and Kiejo-Mbaka geothermal areas in Tanzania”.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Iceland – Directorate for International Development Cooperation and the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) are co-financing the ICEIDA/NDF Geothermal Exploration Project.

Under the Geothermal Exploration Project, cooperation has been established with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, represented by Tanzania Geothermal Development Company Limited (TGDC), for support to geothermal development in the country. Implementation of surface exploration and training in Luhoi and Kiejo-Mbaka geothermal areas is a part of this cooperation.

Eligible experienced and qualified companies from any country are now invited to express interest in being shortlisted to receive Requests for Proposals (RFP) for Surface exploration and training in Luhoi (Rufiji) and Kiejo-Mbaka (Rungwe) geothermal areas.
