A short conference on a much discussed interconnector between Iceland and Europe and the experiences of Norway with electricity exports into the European market will be held November 11, 2015 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The export of “volcanic power” from Iceland to the UK has been discussed now for quite some time. There have been several news pieces, critical voices, events etc. but non actually really looked into the experience of existing energy export through cables experiences.
So we are pleased to post this piece about an event organized by our friends at Navigo, a consultancy based out of Reykjavik, Iceland. The event is organized in partnership with Samtök Atvinnulífsins, an organization representing 2,000 businesses in Iceland.
The event “Conference on an interconnector to Europe: The Experience of Norwegians and the opportunities Icelands in Europe’s Energy Market.”
