Two U.S. groups are working together on a project in Colombia for Empresas Públicas de Medellín E.S. P. at the Nevado del Ruiz Volcano. The project looks at 7 potential exploration sites.

Two U.S. groups are jointly working on a geothermal project in Colombia for Empresas Públicas de Medellín E.S.P. (EPM). The two companies are RESPEC Consulting & Services and Dewhurst group.

According to RESPEC’s website, both firms started working on the Nevado Del Ruiz Geothermal Development project in Colombia, South America earlier this year. The customer EPM is the second largest electrical utility in Colombia.

The project has started its initial exploration activities on the first of potential seven exploration sites in the Nereidas Valley near the Nevado Del Ruiz volcano complex in the South of Colombia.

The Dewhurst Group is a geophysical survey and engineering firm specifically focused on geothermal exploration and development.

RESPEC Consulting & Services has a strategic alliance with DG, and provides integrated and consulting services.
