Drilling for geothermal project to be kicked off in St. Vincent today

St. Vincent & the Grenadines are commemorating the kick off of drilling activities for the geothermal power project at La Soufriere, St. Vincent, Caribbean today (May 6, 2019).

With the drilling rig on site and ready, the official start of drilling for the St. Vincent geothermal project in the Caribbean is scheduled to kick off today, May 6, 2019.

The invitation was shared by Invest SVG (Invest in St. Vincent & Grenadines) on Twitter.

The St. Vincent geothermal project is being developed by Iceland-based Reykjavik Geothermal, with Iceland Drilling Company as the drilling contractor.
