The African Development Bank is looking for Consultancy Firms to conduct an audit of the Tulu Moye Geothermal Project in Ethiopia for the lender's due diligence process.

The African Development Bank has issued a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Consulting Firms for the following Assignment: Tulu Moye Geothermal Project in Ethiopia – Lenders’ Financial Model, Tax, and Development Cost Auditor.

The assignment consists of conducting financial modeling, tax, and development costs auditing for the lenders’ due diligence process for the 50 MW Phase 1 of the Tulu Moye Geothermal Project in Ethiopia.

EOIs must be sent to Mr. Daniel Ndegwa (d.ndegwa@afdb.org) with copy to Mr. Charles Lawuyi (c.lawuyi@afdb.org) no later than Friday, 25 March 2022 at 1700H GMT. The services are expected to start on May 2022.

The Tulu Moye Geothermal Project is being developed in two phases with a target of 150 MW of geothermal power generation capacity. In 2021, we reported that the drilling of the second well in the project was underway. Up to 10 wells are planned for drilling for the two phases of development.
