The team of the Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility for East Africa will be planning meetings with developers of geothermal projects in the region at the upcoming African Rift Geothermal Conference to be held in Kigali/ Rwanda, October 29-November 4, 2018.

The Regional Geothermal Coordination Unit (RGCU) of the African Union Commission informs that the Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility (GRMF) will be present at the 7th African Rift Geothermal Conference which will be held in Kigali (Rwanda) from 29 October to 4 November 2018.

The GRMF wants to get in touch with the qualified developers via face-to-face meetings. It has reserved a separate meeting room to discuss with the status of projects, current challenges, and planned activities for it.

In case you are interested to meet with the RGCU and its partners for the GRMF (KfW, Technical Consultant), please send a short email including your preferred day and time to Mr Sylvain Degolmal Ngaryo (NgaryoS@africa-union.org).

Each meeting is scheduled for 30 minutes. Regarding organizational issues (i.e. place and exact time of meetings), we will come back to you once we have a final schedule.

During the conference, the RGCU will also give a presentation about the development of the programme.
