At a visit today, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi will joining Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and Senator Dean Heller at a dedication ceremony for the Stillwater hybrid geothermal and solar power plant in Nevada,

Having been invited to attend a ceremony today at Stillwater, Nevada with Enel Green Power and the Italian Prime Minister I am quite sad I was not able, but will hopefully get some pictures we can share here later.

Today, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi is attending the formal dedication of a unique hybrid geothermal solar power plant in the State of Nevada.

The Prime Minister will join the Governor of the State Brian Sandoval, Senator Dean Heller and others at the ceremony today  at the Stillwater Geothermal Plant of Enel Green Power North America Inc.

Having reported before on the plant about 100 km east of Reno in Nevada, the plant is the first to combine solar thermal and solar photovoltaic panels to supplement the geothermal power maximising the efficiency of all three.
