French O&G service firm Vallourec, a world leader in premium tubular solutions primarily serving the energy markets (O&G, low carbon) is seeking to fill a position of Geothermal Project Manager.

Vallourec started 2 years ago the Energy Transition Initiative to assess how it could develop businesses in the next years, using all its strengths (pipe making but also international footprint, customers’ proximity, applications know-how, etc…). 4 main fields came out, GEOTHERMAL is one of them.

The opportunities to develop are:

1. the sale of pipes and services
2. becoming minority shareholder in GeoT Design Build and Operate projects
3. develop VIT (vacuum insulated tubing) sales for closed loop geothermal (CLG)
4. develop project management for CLG projects.

The mission:

Lead business opportunities for ‘’classical’’ GeoT project management, i.e. take part for the operational side on negotiations of the company to search for, enter / create consortium, participate to DBO projects tenders, represent the company as a minority shareholder in won projects & achieve contributions in these projects.

Contribute to or manage CLG projects (retrofit of existing wells, drilling of new ones, a mix of the two) for the company in the frame of our cooperation with Greenfire. This implies coordination of all stakeholders (design, rigs, drilling, tubes + VIT, downhole accessories, ORC) for installation of CLG, going up to management of the installation/delivery of steam/power to customer (CLG DBO).

Who are you?

An engineer who has successfully managed GeoT projects (explo, drilling, EPC for steam production) for 10 years.

You are willing to share your knowledge and you like to face new challenges.
