PPC Renewables is expected to announce the selection of the company to develop the Milos geothermal project in Greece in June 2020.

The renewables arm of the the Public Power Corporation (PPC), the biggest electric power company in Greece controlled by the Greek government has announced plans for the construction of solar PV plants.

As part of the news, it is indicated that PPC Renewable will also announce the selection of the preferred company to develop a geothermal power plant on the island of Milos next month (June 2020). We reported on the tender and project before.

“The PPC subsidiary has secured the approval of the Energy Ministry to set up a special purpose company to undertake the utilization of the geothermal fields on Lesvos, Milos, Kimolos, Polyaigos, Nisyros and Methana.”, so Ekathimerini.
