Registration is now open for the Geothermal District Heating and Cooling Days 2026, taking place in Dublin, Ireland on 3-4 September 2026. Th event is being organized by the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) in collaboration with the Geothermal Association of Ireland (GAI).

The event follows on the successful previous editions held in Berlin (2022), Aarhus (2023), Paris (2024) and Vienna (2025),
The 2026 Geothermal District Heating & Cooling Days will focus on “Unlocking Geothermal Heating and Cooling Markets.” The event will bring together leaders and experts from leading companies, policymakers, project developers, investors and other stakeholders from across Europe to discuss ways to accelerate the deployment of geothermal heating, cooling, and thermal storage solutions for districts, local networks, and industrial applications.
On the second day, the special conference workshop will focus on “Making Geothermal Investable in Ireland.” This will be a great opportunity for service providers, investors, and heating/cooling end-users from Ireland and across Europe to collaborate on defining a geothermal growth roadmap in a new market.
As part of the event, there will also be a special evening at the historic Jameson Distillery Bow St. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, a guided distillery tour and whiskey tasting, followed by dinner and an opportunity to connect with speakers and fellow participants in a relaxed and memorable setting.
