Rwanda's Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority has published a request for the expression of interest for an individual consultant to cary out geothermal advisory services. Deadline is Nov. 30, 2012.
The Rwandan government publishes a request for Expressions of Interest for an Individual Consultant to carry out Geothermal Advisory Services.
Tender Notice N° 11.07.053/5545 /CS/018/IC/12/PROC-DED/BTC-DIR/YM/et Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA), which is a public utility institution of Rwanda in charge of production and distribution of energy, water and sanitation for the whole country has received funds from the Belgium Technical Cooperation (BTC) towards the cost of preparation of this project.
EWSA now invites qualified individual consultants to express their interest to undertake the Geothermal Advisory Services. The main objective of this advertisement is to select qualified and experienced individual Consultant capable to undertake this assignment.
Consultant Profile
The individual Consultants shall have experience in the following fields:
- Geothermal risks analysis, financing and planning,
- Geothermal, Environmental Management and Carbon Credits (experience in geothermal policy and legal framework will be an added advantage),
- Geothermal Reservoir engineering, modelling and management,
- Drilling operations and technology,
- Exploration and Development of high temperature geothermal fields,
- Power plant design and construction.
In each field, one Consultant will be selected.
Interested individual Consultant must express interest in one of the 6 fields indicated above and provide information indicating their Qualifications and proven experience in similar assignments.
The total duration of the contract is one (1) year subject to be renewed.
The detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) may be obtained at EWSA Head Office, in the Secretariat of Procurement Unit from 19/11/2012 during working hours (07.00 –12.00 and 13.00 – 17.00) or on www.ewsa.rw, DgMarket and www.btcctb.org
Expressions of interest in English or French must be delivered at the EWSA Head Office, Secretariat of Procurement Unit, Avenue du lac Ihema, P.O. Box: 537 Kigali, or email to ewsa@rwanda1.com and gmwanankundi@ewsa.rw, on or before 30/11/2012 at 9.30 a.m local time. Late submission will be rejected.
