KenGen has announced a tender for drill string inspection and repair services for the company's drilling rigs in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.
KenGen has announced a tender for drilling string inspection and repair services for the company’s drilling rigs at the Olkaria and Eburru geothermal fields in Kenya and at the Tulu Moye site in Ethiopia. The closing date for the tender has been extended to October 25, 2022 at 10 AM local time.
An addendum document also states that the services may be extended to a drilling rig at the Galla Le Geothermal Field in Djibouti.
Technical data on the drilling rig and the inventory of rig components for inspection and repair are detailed on the official tender document. Request for clarifications can be sent to tenders@kengen.co.ke not later than 7 days before the tender closing date and time. Tender submissions must be done via KenGen’s e-procurement platform.
