Registration is now open for the 3rd edition of the East Africa Geothermal Facility webinar series, running for four weeks from May to June 2023.

The Geothermal Institute and the East Africa Geothermal Facility is pleased to invite you to participate in another online series of webinars on geothermal energy. The webinars will be delivered by our internationally recognised experts from New Zealand and are intended to reach a range of professionals across the geothermal disciplines.

They are open to both the public and private East Africa energy sector workforce including energy experts such as Geoscientists, Reservoir and Drilling Engineers, Power Plant Engineers and other technical specialisations, Directors/Managers, Project Managers and Developers, Ministry staff, Energy Agencies, Companies, Regulatory Bodies, Universities, Transmission and Distribution entities and more.

The Geothermal Institute ran a successful series of webinars for East Africa in 2021 and 2022.  In 2023, the 12 webinars will cover a range of important geothermal topics over 4 weeks with a different theme for each week. The webinars will be delivered to participants as downloadable, pre-recorded video presentations approximately 45 minutes long.

Participants will also be invited to a live Zoom Q & A session each week where their questions will be addressed by our panel of experts for each theme. Depending on their interest and expertise, participants can choose which sessions to attend or attend the whole series. Access to the webinars and participation in the live Zoom Q&A sessions is free of charge.

 

Week 1: Exploration
