Transmark Chile SpA is starting a surface studies program at its geothermal concession in Peumayén, Chile funded in parts through the Geothermal Development Facility for Latin America by German development bank KfW.

Transmark Chile SpA has announced the start of additional exploration work with a surface studies program in the north-west area within the Peumayén Concession in Chile.

Transmark Chile SpA also holds the license for geothermal exploration in the area directly surrounding the Tolhuaca geothermal field. Currently, early stage surface studies are initiated to explore for geothermal resources in the Adobera valley to the north-west of the Tolhuaca geothermal field. If the right conditions are found to be present, this might lead to development of a geothermal power plant in the Adobera valley.

The project is co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW and with funding by the European Union, through the Geothermal Development Facility for Latin America.
