How Japan has contributed in geothermal development in Kenya is topic of this recent TV report by Japanese TV station NHK World.

Japan is home to a large number of important industrial players, and in the context of geothermal Japanese companies have supplied more than half of all geothermal turbines so far.

The collaboration between Kenya and Japan has been topic of a recent TV piece by NHK in Japan. It not only describes how Japan has been supporting geothermal development in Kenya, but also touches upon – while briefly – on why Japan despite its resources has not developed geothermal.

… and great to see Cyrus W. Karingithi, Assistant Manager of Resource Development for KenGen, so greatly featured in the video.
