A great video published by BBC's Earth Lab, shares how Iceland is utilising geothermal energy for power generation, heat generation, bathing, greenhouse operations and so much more.

Renewable energy provides almost all electricity in Iceland. But what is about Iceland’s unique geology that allows it to produce such cheap renewable energy? This is what this fantastic video by BBC Earth Labs is all about.

Visiting Iceland, the BBC team, not only took a dip into one of Iceland’s geothermal pools, but also looks at how the country utilises its geothermal energy resources for electricity generation, keeping streets ice free, heating greenhouses and so much more.
