In this video shared by the Prime Minister’s Office in Japan, the role of Japan in the build up of Kenya’s geothermal power generation capacity is being highlighted.
Takahiro Miyamoto worked in cooperation with Kenyan engineers on a geothermal power plant, which now generates 18% of Kenya’s energy supply. Japan’s efforts have helped reduce the cost of energy for all Kenyans while contributing to economic stability and growth for the country.
