Seequent will be presenting a case study on the subsurface modeling of the Steptoe Valley Basin in Nevada on 15 June 2023. Registration is currently open.

Seequent will be presenting a case study on 15 June 2023, titled “Powering geothermal exploration in the Steptoe Valley: Bridging geology, geophysics, and innovative software solutions.” This will be an online event. Registration is available via the official event page.

On June 15, 2023, from 3PM to 4PM (British Summer Time (BST)), the company’s Energy segment will present a geothermal exploration case study developed in the Steptoe Valley basin in Nevada, USA. The presentation will show the construction of a conceptual 3D model of the basin, using public domain data from the United States Geological Survey and the University of Nevada, Reno, through the Geothermal Data Repository (RDA).

Additionally, the synergy with other Seequent geophysical and collaborative software such as Oasis montaj, GM-SYS, and Central will be showcased.

Seequent had just recently announced the launch of Leapfrog Energy with expanded subsurface modeling capabilities that can be useful in other energy industries on top of geothermal.
