Thor is a geologist who currently works as CEO of GTML in Norway. Due to his background from the oil and gas industry as well as bi-lateral international work in technology exchange within renewables, he proves broad entrepreneurial experience in the geothermal industry. He also led the team that established the first successful deep energy wells down to 1.500 m in the Nordics at Oslo Airport. Together with his team at GTML he has great expertise in energy systems based on geothermal energy as well as within the oil and gas industry.

Geothermal Energy Nordic AS (GTML) represents a renewable energy company with a main focus on building, owning and operating energy plants that provide renewable heat from deep wells at competitive prices and a minimal uptake of land on surface. With his presentation, Thor will point out the possibilities, the understanding, and advantages of complete energetic systems with deep energy wells for direct use or heat pumps. Thereby, plenty of ongoing projects will be presented.
