Webinar – Handling of CO2 in binary systems, Oct. 8, 2021 Webinar announcement
Alexander Richter 6 Oct 2021

Learn more on handling of CO2 in binary systems in this presentation and webinar with Dorothee Siefert of EnbW in Germany, Oct. 8, 2021.

As part of the regular IGC Webinar series – a partnership of Enerchange and ThinkGeoEnergy – Dorothee Siefert of EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG in Germany, will give a presentation on the “CO2 handling in binary systems – modelling CO2 contents, salinity and p-T conditions”.

You can register free of charge on https://www.igc.events/en/webinar

The presentation will mainly focus on handling of CO2 in the surface installation and the influence on the power or heat output using the example of the geothermal plant in Bruchsal/ Germany.  It will look into parameter variation (different CO2 contents [0.5-2 wt%], production temperature, salinity [0-200 g/L NaCleq]) and simulation not only Bruchsal with the gas bridge, but pressure maintenance in the system without gas bridge and still a theoretical addition of a small CO2 turbine.
