Pertamina Geothermal has started engineering, procurement and construction activities for its planned 30 MW Kamojang Unit 5 geothermal power plant project in Garut, West Java, Indonesia.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) has started “engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities of the planned 30 MW Kamojang Unit 5 geothermal power plant (PLTP). The power plant is located in Garut, West Java.

Adriansyah, President Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, said EPC process takes about a year, so the power plant is scheduled to start operation in 2014.”
