The geothermal community is invited to attend the 10th International Geomechanics Symposium to be held on 8-12 May 2023 in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
Registration is currently open for the 10th International Geomechanics Symposium taking place on 8 to 12 May 2023 at the Industrial University of Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia. For this year’s event, geomechanics and geothermal energy have been integrated into the programme to help accelerate the growth of the geothermal industry in Colombia and enable the sustainable development of the oil and gas industry.
With this new approach, the event organized are inviting the entire geothermal community to attend this great event that will integrate, for the first time, two related and important topics for the development of research and projects on geomechanics and geothermal energy.
During the event, there will be technical courses related to geomechanics applied to CCUS, by PhD. Nelly Rubio (Ecopetrol), Geothermal Well Drilling, by Daniele Girasoli (Ageocol) and Exploration and Exploitation of geothermal resources, by PhD. Rosa María Prol (UNAM) and master conferences in which companies and academy will show their progress in the subject.
