Early bird registration is still available for Accelerating Geothermal: REEnergizing the Greenhouse Sector, a 2-day learning experience hosted by the IGA.

The International Geothermal Association is inviting to this 2-day event designed to be a learning experience for the utilization of geothermal energy in the greenhouse sector. The event will be on September 26 to 27, 2022 at the NH Hotels, The Hague, The Netherlands. Early bird discounts are available until July 8. Registration is currently open via this link.

Accelerating Geothermal: Reenergize the Green Sector is a 2-day learning experience that includes site visits to geothermal greenhouses in The Netherlands. The IGA is proud to have a line up of key companies and specialists for the full value chain of geothermal use for the greenhouse industry.

A first glimpse on the program:

  • Wageningen Economic Research on relations on the energy mix for greenhouse industry
  • TNO AGE on geologic potential modeling and Dutch subsidies and regulations
  • Getech on local understanding of the geology and global modeling possibilities
  • Shell Geothermal on the challenges and possibilities of geothermal in the global energy mix

Several specialists will lecture on UTES, energy contract management, greenhouse configurations and climate installation modelling. There will also be excursions to the greenhouse facilities of ECW Energy and Trias Westland.
