The GRC is calling for entries to their Annual Amateur Photo Contest. Deadline for submissions is on August 2, 2019.

The Annual Amateur Photo Contest of the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) is back again for this year. This time, the contest will focus on raising awareness of the community benefits of geothermal energy by providing honorable mention awards for entries that highlight two specific categories: Diversity and Community. The deadline for submissions is on August 2, 2019.

Every year, GRC’s Amateur Photo Contest showcases quality photography featuring geothermal energy around the world. Any photograph related to geothermal energy will be accepted. This many include exploration, drilling, well testing, power plant construction, maintenance, geological features, or geothermal manifestations.

The first place winner will receive a $150 prize. Second and third place winners will receive $100 and $75, respectively. Honorable mention entries will receive certificates.
