Helping to setting policies in the European Union supporting geothermal development, your input is sought for a survey to look into the implementation of geothermal energy activities at regional level in Europe.

The European Geothermal Energy Council has shared a Call for Contribution for a Survey on the Implementation of geothermal energy activities at regional level by the Deep Geothermal International Working Group.

Dear Member of the Geothermal Energy Community,

Considering that individual countries follow distinct energy paths according to resources available and that – in the particular case of the geothermal energy opportunity in the energy mix, it requires to consider its several attributes to make it a significant energy source, namely by being of a site-specific nature, the Portuguese government would like to invite you to participate in the brief survey below.

The aim is to gain insight on the implementation of geothermal energy activities at a regional level. This survey is part of the activity of the Supporting Unit  SU-DG-IWG, in the frame of the EU SET Plan Deep Geothermal Implementation Plan.
