Victor van Heekeren will retire from the chairmanship at Platform Geothermie in the Netherlands and will be replaced by Frank Schoof with a reception held at TNO on November 6, 2015.

The Dutch Platform Geothermie has announced a change in leadership. In a joint meeting of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of the Foundation Platform Geothermie Frank Schoof was appointed Chairman of the Board.

Effective November 1, 2015 he will take over the duties of the current President Victor Heekeren. Frank Schoof has studied mathematics at Delft and has held various functions and has been involved in the field of deep geothermal energy and heat distribution, including for Geothermal Hague, Province of South -Holland, DAP and in this group.

In addition, he has been the treasurer of the foundation for several years. At the end of 2014, Victor van Heekeren indicated that he will not seek to prolong his statutory term (October 13th, 2015). After six years as chairman and seven years as Platform’s spokesman he saw the time come to transfer his duties. On November 6, 2015 a good bye reception will be held for Victor van Heekeren as president and there is an opportunity to (re) acquainted with Frank Schoof at a reception after the TNO Knowledge & Innovation at the Princeton Lane 6 in Utrecht.
