Under the newly signed agreement, Aboitiz will supply at least 10 MW to More Power from their Makban and Tiwi geothermal facilities.

A power supply agreement has been signed between More Electric and Power Corp. and Aboitiz Power Corp. Under the agreement, Aboitiz will supply 10 MW, with an option for an additional 5 MW, to More Power, a new distribution utility in Iloilo City. Aboitiz Power through AP Renewables is currently operating the Tiwi and MakBan geothermal powerplants in Albay and the Laguna-Batangas regions.

The one-year interim power supply agreement was signed by More Power president and COO Roel Castro and AP Renewables Inc. president and COO Alexander Coo.

More Power was granted a 25-year power distribution franchise in Iloilo City allowing them to avail of emergency power supply via negotiated procurement. In addition to Aboitiz Power, More Power also signed a power supply agreement with Kepco SPC Power Corp. for 5 MW.
