EGS Energy, the development company of the Eden Project in Cornwall continues talks on capital support and has set up a liaison group with the local community.

The Eden project, an EGS geothermal project in Cornwall, England, seems to take a step forward as reported locally.

The company has now set up a liaison group with the local community and is talking on capital support for the project.

EGS Energy, the project developer, is working with multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty on the preparation of the project site and the design for the planned geothermal power plant. Ground investigation is expected to start in the next few weeks.

As part of community involvement, the liaison group now founded will serve as a way to provide information to the community and the partners to the project.
