The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) publishes an analysis of the various support schemes for geothermal development in the member states of the European Union. It is available for members at egec.org.

Published this morning, EGEC announces the publishing of an analysis of the various support schemes for geothermal within the European Union.

“Feed in tariffs are the most common form of support for the development of renewable electricity technologies. Given their key role for the full deployment of geothermal power generation across the EU, EGEC has now drawn up a comprehensive and updated analysis of feed in tariff schemes in place in the 27 EU Member States. Besides, the green certificates schemes in force in 5 countries are also reported. The information will be regularly updated.

The document is available, exclusively for members, on the Policy Updates section of the EGEC members corner.”
