The first unit will be delivered at the start of 2016 and will make use of a 2 pressure level cycle, where higher efficiency will be achieved by using EXERGY’s Radial Outflow Turbine.

Exergy is thrilled to announce the sale of two 25 MW geothermal plants to Kipa? Holding – a Turkish owner and operator of geothermal power plants. Kipa?, founded in 1984, are one of Turkey’s most enterprising companies and were at the forefront of investing in the now highly successful geothermal market in Turkey. Already the owner of four geothermal plants, Kipas continue to expand their profitable venture with this partnership.

Kipa? Holding’s choice of EXERGY as supplier reflects the trust it places in EXERGY to perform in this competitive market. EXERGY will provide Kipa? with equipment from their state-of-the-art factory in Turkey. This will qualify Kipa? for a higher feed-in-tariff than would be possible with foreign sourced equipment. The benefits of this unique advantage, combined with EXERGY’s proven higher efficiency turbine, and skill in geothermal design have enabled Kipa? to make the commitment to EXERGY.

Sales and Marketing Director, Anthony Hinde commented, “We are very proud to have such a prestigious and experienced client, partner with EXERGY. The investment in a 100% EXERGY owned factory in Turkey leveraging and enhancing local skills has been a pioneering effort by EXERGY and this important order recognizes our ongoing commitment to the country.”

The first unit will be delivered at the start of 2016 and will make use of a 2 pressure level cycle, where higher efficiency will be achieved by using EXERGY’s Radial Outflow Turbine.
