A good short overview on geothermal heat pumps by U.S.-based geothermal association Geothermal Rising.
In the geothermal world, which becomes increasingly more complex, the technical solutions to derive lower heat from shallow depths or even deeper resources with heat exchange technology, such as heat pumps become increasingly interesting.
ThinkGeoEnergy surely has struggled to find a way to cover these technology in the increasingly blurry lines in between what we traditionally call deep geothermal, the new technologies with heat exchange systems such as closed loops or single wells, and the traditional shallow heat pumps/ geo-exchange systems.
