The Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA) invites Expressions of Interest for the following consultancy: “Geothermal Surface Exploration in Tendaho Alalobeda, Ethiopia“.

The Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA) invites Expressions of Interest for the following consultancy: “Geothermal Surface Exploration in Tendaho Alalobeda, Ethiopia“.

The Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA) and the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) are co-financing a project to support geothermal exploration and capacity building in East Africa with ICEIDA as the lead funding agency and implementing agency. The main objective of the Geothermal Exploration Project is to assist countries in East Africa to enhance geothermal knowledge and capacity in order to enable further actions on geothermal utilization in the respective countries.

Under the Geothermal Exploration Project, ICEIDA and the Government of Ethiopia, represented by the implementing agencies, GSE and EEPCO, have established cooperation for support to geothermal development in Ethiopia. As a part of this cooperation surface exploration studies will be conducted in priority sites in Ethiopia.

ICEIDA, as the Client for the contract, now invites eligible, experienced and qualified companies from any country to express interest in being shortlisted to receive Request for Proposals for Geothermal Surface Exploration in Tendaho Alalobeda in Ethiopia.
