The governor of Banten in Indonesia has signed a regulation on the tender process for a planned geothermal power plant at lake Kaldera in Banten.

According to local news, “Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah has signed a regulation on the tender process for a planned geothermal power plant.

“Activities to convert geothermal energy into electricity at lake Kaldera in Banten will be ruled by the regulation,” Eko Palmadi, the head of the Banten Mining and Energy Agency’s mining and geology department, said on Friday.

The administration will evaluate the methods used in managing geothermal energy and whether they have enough funds to work.”

Haven´t found more details on the actual tender and process, but will try to find and post.
