Indonesia orders state-owned utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara to buy geothermal power at a maximum of 9.7 US cents per kilowatt hour from new plants, based on a ministerial decree.

As Bloomberg reports, Indonesia orders state-owned utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara to buy geothermal power to support its geothermal plans.

The utility will be required to buy power at  a maximum of 9.7 US cents per kilowatt hour from new plants, based on a ministerial decree.
