The Ministry of Economic Development in Mexico created the Directorate General for Investment Projects in Energy Companies, focused on attracting investment in the renewable and geothermal energy sector

The industrialisation impulse that Mexico is experimenting carries also an increase in energy demand. In the region of Guadalajara, with the potential of developing its renewable prowess, european investors are eager to develop green energy generation and geothermal in particular.

In order to address such demands and with a portfolio of 15 renewable energy projects seeking to operate in the state, the Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco) created the “Directorate General for Investment Projects in Energy Companies”, focused on attracting investment in the sector.

More news will soon follow on the details on the aforementioned energy projects.
