New geothermal energy information website platform launched in France

ADEME and BRGM have released a new information website with details about geothermal energy and how to develop resources under the domain geothermies.fr.
The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (Ademe) and the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research (BRGM) have launched a new information portal dedicated to geothermal energy.
The dedicated website is ” géothermies.fr “. Its objective is to “understand this sustainable energy and encourage its use by individuals, communities and businesses”, explain Ademe and the BRGM.
The site offers scientific support for all audiences, to know and develop geothermal energy. It offers an educational space, intended to discover the means to exploit the thermal energy found underground, as well as a cartographic space.
The site also details the regulations and standards applicable by professionals in the sector. It provides practical and theoretical guides allowing professionals and specialized structures ” to benefit from good practices and the latest lessons from research”.
