The 7th Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern geothermal congress will document current challenges and opportunities of the fastest growing geothermal market in Middle Europe. The event will take place in Munich, Bavaria - 7-9 October 2019

The 7th Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern starts on October 7 with three Workshops, about inhibitors, GEORISK and an overview about geothermal production pumps. Here operators speak about new developments, before several manufacturers introduce their most powerful production pumps. Here speakers from Bestec, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Borets International and Oil Dynamics will present. All the Workshops are either in English or with simultaneous translation.

The second day starts with keynotes before in several forums current topics are introduced. In the afternoon Bavarian Minister of State for economics, regional development and energy, Hubert Aiwanger, will speak about “Geothermal energy as an important component for a climate-friendly power supply”. Obviously, the Bavarian politics recognizes the signs of time.

Forum IV in the afternoon of the Praxisforum-Geothermie.Bayern presents newly planned projects in South Eastern Bavaria. A new municipal project East of Munich, where the preliminary investigations indicate a particularly rich geothermal potential. Further lectures will deal with the geothermal project in Traunreut, the latest drillings and power plant development in Garching an der Alz as well as the projects planned in Tittmoning, Trostberg and Palling.

In the evening the Praxisforum Lounge investes with fingerfood, beer and wine for further informal discussion. And the next day pracitcal experiences are in the focus of the Turboden GeoTHOUR. Here, the highly efficient plant of Holzkrichen is introduced as well as the heating plant in Poing.
