The conference is expected to bring together academics, developers, policymakers, and regulators to discuss the status of geothermal research and projects

The 7th London Geothermal Symposium will be held on November 5, 2019 in the Burlington House, London. The Provisional Conference programme has been released recently and can be viewed here. Take note that the programme is still subject to change.

The conference will include presentations on the use deep and shallow geothermal systems to generate heat and power, updates on new and existing projects, and how from abandoned mines  can be harnessed –  a growing area of interest for heat decarbonisation.

The 7th Symposium will bring together geothermal experts and representatives from the local authorities, developers, policy makers, academics, and regulators. There will also be opportunities for networking during lunch and coffee breaks.

Registration is currently ongoing. Registration rates are as follows:

  • Fellow:  £ 70.00
  • Non-fellow: £ 120.00
  • Student: £ 20.00
  • Retired: £ 35.00
