The Icelandic geothermal sector will be represented strongly with a large delegation at the upcoming World Geothermal Congress.

In a recent press release from Iceland Geothermal, it is announced that the cluster along with its members welcomes you to their booth at the WGC 2015. The Iceland Geothermal Booth will be located at – 49, 50, 55 & 56. Representatives of enclosed companies and institutions will be pleased to discuss solutions whom you will find on our booth are: Verkís Consulting, Mannvit Engineering , Efla Consulting, Iceland GeoSurvey, University of Reykjavik, Iceland Drilling, Landsvirkjun, the National Power Company, the UNU Geothermal Training Program, Iceland’s Energy Authority, Reykjavik Energy, ThinkGeoEnergy and others.

Booth Reception – April 21, 15:00 – 16:00
Iceland Geothermal would like to invite you to a booth reception on Tuesday 21st of April form 15-1600 pm where you get the opportunity to strengthen your network among the Icelandic professionals in Geothermal.We are honored to share with you our Minister of Energy, Ms. Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir will be greeting our guests.

Icelanders are sharing an extensive knowledge and experience at WGC2015 in many presentation in all fields of the geothermal value chain, among others on development activities, research like the Iceland Deep Drilling Project and others.

World Geothermal Congress 2020

Iceland has a big role during the closing ceremony when the WGC torch will be handed out to the Icelanders – as Iceland has been selected to be the next host of the World Geothermal Congress in 2020.
