PT Supreme Energy is confident in expanding its geothermal power generation capacity to 220 MW from currently 70 MW through its projects in South Solok and West Sumatra.

PT Supreme Energy has reported on its confidence to expand its geothermal power generation capacity to 220 MW from currently 70 MW.

The company has drilled so far six geothermal wells at a depth of maximum 2,000 meters, with one of the wells having a power generation capacity of around 25 MW, so PT Supreme Energy Manager Nofrin Napilus.

“The potential and geothermal prospects in South Solok (Solsel), West Sumatra, provide a great opportunity for geothermal power generation, especially in the area Liki.  With this production in 2016 will absorb the local workforce of 700 people , “said Nofrin to the media recently.
