The New Zealand Institute for Earth Science and Engineering of the University of Auckland is launching its geothermal short course program for June and July 2010.

Having highlighted geothermal education programs before, it is a pleasure to help our friends in New Zealand to highlight a rather interesting and informative geothermal short course program.

As part of the program, the University of Auckland’s Institute of Earth Science and Engineering (IESE) is offering the following short courses this summer:

  • Introduction to the Geoscience of Geothermal Resources, June 7-11, 2010
  • Introduction to Geothermal Reservoir Engineering, June 14-18, 2010
  • Geothermal Reservoir Modelling, June 14-July 9, 2010
  • Introduction to the Use of Joint Geophysical Imaging Techniques in Geothermal Exploration, Development & Management, July 12-16, 2010

Details about the courses can be found on the website of IESE.
