This is a short video from the inauguration of the 1.7 MW Soultz-sous-Forets geothermal power plant in Alsace/ France in late September 2016.
In connection with the European Geothermal Congress late last month, the new plant at Soultz-sous-Forets in Alsace/ France was inaugurated.
With the participation of the proud partners of the project, Electricité de Strasbourg (ES Group) and EnBW together with political and local representatives celebrated the re-establishment of geothermal power plant near the city of Soultz-sous-Forets in Alsace. The plant is operated by GEIE – Geothermie Soultz.
The 1.7 MW plant was built by Italian Turboden. Alongside the celebration I was able to take this short video with Alessandro Piubelli, Commissioning, Service & Aftersales Director at Turboden.
