The California Energy Commission will hold a Pre-Application Workshop to discuss the solicitation with potential applicants for a grant opportunity on R&D on Geothermal Energy and Lithium Co-Production. Online participation possible. Date of the meeting is December 4, 2019

Earlier this week we reported on a funding opportunity as part of a call for applications for grant funding for applied research and development, and technology demonstration and deployment projects related to develop and demonstrate technologies, tools, and strategies to improve the productivity and flexibility of existing geothermal facilities; as well as develop and demonstrate technologies to recover lithium from geothermal brine.

The California Energy Commission staff will hold one Pre-Application Workshop to discuss the solicitation with potential applicants. Participation is optional but encouraged.  Applicants may attend the workshop in-person, via the internet (WebEx, see instructions below), or via conference call on the date and at the time and location listed below.
