The Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA) has launched the 5th Indonesia International Geothermal Conference & Exhibition. This year’s edition will take place 2-4 August 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA) has launched their 5th Indonesia International Geothermal Conference & Exhibition. This year’s edition will take place 2-4 August 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Here are some excerpts from a foreword released by the President INAGA 2017 Abadi Poernomo:

Indonesia, with its imminence geothermal potential and as one of world’s largest potential resources of geothermal energy, is honored to host The 5th Indonesia International Geothermal Convention & Exhibition (IIGCE) 2017 on 2 – 4 August 2017. In light of the success of the past conferences, the IIGCE is deemed as the most essential forum for geothermal industry executives and professionals in the region. The event is also a milestone in our support in developing geothermal industry in Indonesia. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to The 5th IIGCE 2017, which will be held in conjunction with The 17th Annual Scientific Convention of the Indonesian Geothermal Association (INAGA). It represents a golden opportunity to build a great relationship with worldwide potential business partners, as well as showcasing the latest Indonesia’s geothermal development and all support services in the geothermal industry.

I am proud that The 5th IIGCE 2017 become a prominent geothermal event in the region, where government agencies, policy makers, key stakeholders, investors, services companies, academicians and expertises in geothermal industry gather to share the latest developments in geothermal industry and build professional relationship as well as exchange breakthrough ideas among the experts.

This year we picked up the theme “Moving Forward Under Current Challenges, Obstacles and Opportunities toward Achieving Geothermal Development 2025 Target” that will be addressed in the special Keynote speeches by high rank officials and also to be further discussed by our invited prominent speakers in the 2 (two) Plenary Sessions during 2 (two) days conference.
